Hey guys just joined on here and I could use some of your input. I am posting here because I live in Oklahoma and thought you guys could help me out. I am trying to build my own FM transmitter that works in the 467 Mhz range (frs) this is for a personal project of mine. But i can not find anything online about how to do it. I find all sorts of stuff to make easy FM transmitters but they all work in the lower 90-108 mhz range.. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks

If your intent is to build a transmitter to transmit in the FRS band, only FCC approved radios are legal. FRS isn't a hobby or experimental band. However low-power devices are legal to build and use on the AM and FM broadcast bands under Part 15 rules (less than 100 mW). Maybe if you would elaborate on what you would like to accomplish, you may get some good suggestions.

Thanks for your reply. I am working on an app (ios, android) for airsoft and it will send sounds into an adapter that would relay them over the FRS band to the teams comms. So basically I need to get it approved by the FCC first before I can build something.
