New to Trunking, need help!

Recently purchased RS Pro-2051 and don't seem to be getting much traffic on 800 band. I live in Central LA basically in between Wheeling, Jonesboro, & Jena sites. Should I not be hearing more of what is going on down in New Orleans. Also, which plan should I use to trunk if using Control Channel only mode?

i'm not sure if your area is encypted click on rr database above, then click on your state. then click on the area you want to monitor. good luck.

one more thing reading about the 2051 in the radio shack section, the 2051 doesn't track digital from what i read. if your area is digital you need the 2096 base or the pro 96 handheld
