Is it just me or does it sound like the OP hasn't got his scanner programmed correctly to properly follow a trunked system, it seems like he is just manually scanning some of the frequencies as if it was a analogue system especially if it keeps "hearing" the control channel and not getting any TGID's.
I haven't tried listening to TPS for a long while so I'm not sure how far they are along with the switch over and/or if everything is still in the clear?

LOL, Eric's problem, I had Torontokris create a system that the original poster could upload to freescan and TK went above and beyond the cal of duty to step in and create a step by step lesson on how to do it by hand

Going from the old school, channel enter and scan scanners to a complicated 246XT, you can guarantee problems unless you know how to use whatever software. Doing something like this by hand is hard enough for an expert, fingers and thumbs can go numb..

yes torontokris really made my day, thanks again. Once he made that step by step guide, everything works fine now.. I actually prefer to program by hand.. It's easier for me cause I have a Mac, so I don't mind at all .. This way I actually learn how to program them instead of cheating lol
