New Troop L HQ Proposed

Sounds like a good idea anyway. But how many other troops will be begging for a new HQ now? $2.5 million for 10 acres of land? That seems a little steep. I think they should find another location. Either that or it is a political deal and somebody will make a lot of money if this is approved?

How old is the current building that they are using? Some of the state police posts here in Michigan, date back to the 1930s, and were part of the WPA, under the FDR Administration. Those buildings really need to be replaced, as they cost a lot to heat in the winter months.
