Have discovered a new TRS operating at Little Rock Air Force Base (don't get excited...system is encrypted).

Here is what I have found thus far...

406.9625 Data Channel
407.1625 Encrypted Voice
409.7625 Encrypted Voice
407.9625 Encrypted Voice

Doing a search on Radio Reference for these frequencies finds several postings for these frequencies in use at several military installations across the country. I'm sure there are other frequencies operating on the system -- have not monitored the system much after discovering the encryption.

Just wanted to pass on the information -- not that it would do much good to monitor it.

So I guess no one has submitted any info on the new Motorola TRS for Little Rock AFB? The datbase still shows an EDACS system, which this is not.

I'm monitoring it from Little Rock, but it doesn't come in too well down here. It's showing a System ID of 4628, Type II SmartNet with P-25 voice. It's shows a total of 10 channels in the system on Trunker, but I haven't mapped all 10 channels out yet.

It appears that other base support stuff is still on VHF, but using P-25 voice also...

Has anyone confirmed that this system is actually at LRAFB? I just drove the perimeter of the base and found no activity on these or any other 406 - 420 MHz frequencies there.

Funny thing, I started picking up a very weak control channel from this system as I was heading south back to Little Rock. Even in my 12th floor hotel room facing north, this system is coming in with a very weak signal.
