Hi

First TRX-1 post... I purchased one this week to monitor an MMDVM repeater here at my house. This repeater is DMR, P25 and occasionally NXDN on the ham bands.

I was hoping I could have one frequency set up to decode whatever mode it hears. I have been unsuccessful in this so far - is it even possible, or do I need three unique objects, one per mode?

Thanks!

That's what I did with a local multimode P25 / DMR / Dstar / Fusion machine here. Set up two unique objects for P25 and DMR, and popped them in a scanlist. Sadly, no Fusion or Dstar decode on the trx-1. Investigate whether your amateur site is using narrow or wideband for P25.

The more detailed way, would be to program them as different "trunked systems", even though it only has one rx frequency and no CC to speak of. Now you have much more fine-grained control over talkgroups and the like.

But either way works.

It doesn't auto detect the mode, you have to set which mode you want.
