Had the unfortunate pleasure of waiting to pick up relatives at Newark Airport today (and having their flight delayed). Gave me extra time to fire up two scanners and do some searching.

I noticed the TSA agents are now carrying the new KNG radios at Newark Airport and must have gotten a new frequency plan to go with the new radios.

Found the following in use (about 98% encrypted now):

171.7625 N04F - Believe this to be the new TSA repeater that replaced 172.900
169.300 N04F & N051 in use
169.1625 N04F & N051 in use
168.8375 N04F
170.6125 N04F
172.150 N193

As of Xmas day CHS (Charleston Intl Airport/AFB) was still using 172.900/169.3. Didn't see a NAC but did see PL 67.0 kHz displayed by the 436 several times.

I've seen PL's (Mostly Unidens) fault to 67.0 when the radio is set for Auto Detect and hears a weak P25 signal

BTW for many of the Airports who have gone to a new NAC on 172.9000,
169.3000 is DOA, now to SEARCH for the new input

Thanks for the update. I updated my notes on TSA as well. I guess the only monitorable public safety frequency at EWR would be the talkgroups for Newark Airport Port Authority PD officers.
