the latest database update is showing that a site is up and running in the Memphis area. anyone in memphis and in west TN and in MS and AR hearing this site? are you hearing any talkgroups?

I am not far from Memphis, I have not heard any traffic on either of the control channels.
ok.... is the site on the air ?

I don't see any signs that the system is on the air. I will be checking with some friends who may know.

Yes the system is up. Received control channel traffic on 770.190625 on my PSR 500 with 2A5 system ID. I talked with a friend and he mentioned the system to me before I had a chance to bring it up. I have not located an FCC License for this site.

When the TVRS was being built out in east TN several of the sites were on the air before they showed up in the FCC data base. They are licensed several different ways: Chattanooga, City of; Tennessee State of (TVRTS); Roane, County of; Blount, County of....etc.
Always good to do control channels searches in the 700 & 800 bands to find what's new.
Given the state is ponying up money it sounds like the "statewide system" is underway being built.
Anybody in Nashville keeping an eye on that new P25 systems that's part of mid-state TVRS?

sweet! and the site is starting to get some use! nice
If anyone can provide the site number for Memphis, it would be greatly appreciated. The Pro96com software works wonders on P25 systems.

Someone needs to double check the Lenoir City site location...the lat and long are showing it to be on the other side of the globe in China.
Add a negative to the longitude and I suspect it'll fix things
