Hi. this program was working very well for me until I switched the email address and phone number I am sending to.
Since then, not a single tone has been detected... I'm not sure why.
Any ideas?

Copy and paste your tone file or just compare to the sampletone file, also copy and paste debug output

For att: XXXXXXXXXX@mms.att.net
For sprint: XXXXXXXXXX@pm.sprint.com

If those don't work, the problem is on the phone's end. Try sending both .amr and .mp3 attachments.

I have one recipient (iphone) who gets nothing at the mms email and gets an email with no attachment at XX@txt.att.net. I haven't been able to figure that one out. No undeliverables back either. It must be something in his phone or his service plan. Other than that one i have been successful with many others using the two formats.

Check and see if he has app that condenses data to improve storage on iphone. Had similar issue and that was cause. Deleted app, started getting text again.

If he has an I phone why are you sending it to txt.att.net and not mms.att.net? that will cause the audio to get lost.

Also Check and see if his service is actually ATT or if its something like straight talk or a pre pay plan. If it is a lot of those may pay or be with ATT but service is actually provided by someone else.

Ok, I've been using various versions of this software for about 6 months now, and a problem has cropped up that I cannot solve. About a week ago I noticed I was not receiving any e-mail alerts. I checked my e-mail settings, but nothing appears to be wrong. This is the text copied from the debug version (e-mail addressed are edited for privacy):

I found the problem on my own. I updated the version of FFMPEG I was using and checked my e-mail settings again. No more errors appear in the debug version.

I'm not sure what the problem might be. It seems related to pyaudio, I'm wondring if it can't find your sound card?

Is there anyway to send the alerts to multiple recipients, without sending everyones address? Presently everyone sees who all gets the alert. I have had requests that not be the case.

Send the mail using the BCC field for the list, and the sending address as the recipient address. People will only see the sending address and their own.
