I did some logging today and saw something like this happen once out of about 60 pages. I'll try to do some debugging on it to figure out what's going on but it may take awhile since it happens so infrequently.

Andy

I'm not having luck with v59. It's not recording correctly. Not skipping message this time, but the recording didn't start until the next alert. What it emailed me was the first alert label with a recording of the second alert. I emailed the log.

On the bright side, V58 has been running flawlessly.

I was interested in tagging the emails or text message addresses with names. Is that possible? Could I use something like this without confusing the program: [Joe Smith]5021234567@vzwpix.com ? Would the editor be able to do this or would I have to open the tones config file and manually enter it?

Love the program Andy and your Fire Call Mapping info. I am trying to wrap my brain around that one and get it set up for my fire department.

See this, I think this will help you: http://forums.radioreference.com/st...detect-works-python-based-60.html#post1899244

It appears as though this should work with both editor and the manual config file in the testing that I just performed.

The next version of the Tones Editor will do this automatically by having a separate field for name and email address, and then store it in the correct format. It works, I just need to get around to packaging it up and releasing it.

Have you recently changed your gmail password without updating it in the program?

yes but i changed it in the program

thanks,
matt

Double check to make sure you entered it correctly. The error you're getting is telling you that the program can't log in to gmail using the username and password that you've provided.

Also, make sure you restart the program after making changes to the config info.

Hello,
I recently upgraded to the new 59 version and this is the error I'm getting. For a while it would send the text emails but no audio. Then the text emails stopped. This is what it is throwing

I have it setup with a new gmail account and everything should be good to go there. Thanks.

Where to download Python version?

Hi everyone,

Trying to download and test out the Python version of TwoToneDetect but can only seem to find the Windows downloads - 58 and 59. I found a link to what I believe is supposed to contain the contents of the Python version on SourceForge but it's an empty tarball.

Can someone please point me in the right direction?

If you're looking for source files, the program is no longer open source. Andy posted on 3/1 that v57 and up are not open source http://forums.radioreference.com/1925736-post1384.html

You can grab the older version here:

https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B5nsi3i1O2oyazNuQzA0UW5od1k/edit

If you're looking for the Raspberry Pi version instructions are here:

https://sites.google.com/site/radioetcetera/twotoneprogram/ttd-on-a-pi

There's a link to the Pi Tarball about 3/4 of the way down.

Thanks - does this mean that there is no longer a Python version apart from the Raspberry Pi one?
