I was doing a general licence search on the FCC database and I found a whole bunch of new call signs for different towers and some that were listed with already existing towers just different frequencies, for example:

New:
WQCM684- Scotts Peak (Brighton)
WQCU490- Tabiona (Duchesne)
WQCU491- Ibapah (Tooele)
WQCV816- University of Utah (Salt Lake)
WQCV829- Steamboat Mountain (Duchesne)

Existing towers with different frequencies:
WQED572- Point of Mountain (working data channel)
WQED597- PROMONTORY POINT
WQED592- 800 W STATE STREET, Farmington

and the list goes on. Anyone have any ideas??

i was looking through it as well and i seen that Ford Ridge's UCAN Frequencies are different than the ones that acctually work off of ford ridge but it was when it was installed not a renewed licence which makes me wonder why it dont match up.

Doing a little more research, I have found existing tower licences that have different frequencies licenced to them than what is showing in the RR database???? I am confused now, i would just like to keep my records up to date but who do I trust, RR or FCC??

If the frequencies are in the lower half of the 800 MHz band it is going to be rebanding related. Here is a post I made a bit ago with the layout for the SLCo site:

The FCC records are accurate as to what is licensed. It doesn't tell you what is actually in use. While UCAN can have licenses all over the spectrum, they might not actively be using any of it. That is where RR comes in, but occasionally it is even flawed as things change...

I thought last night I would take a ride up Parleys Canyon to the Mountain Dell sight to see what list was correct. The list that I printed from the FCC contained NO active frequencies. The list that was from RR contained the Data Channel as specified.
