Noticed a few weeks ago of a new CC on 700 mhz for University California Irvine. As of today I am hearing Phase II TDMA on their current Type II CC in P25 Digital.

Sounds like their new system is up and running. A mixture of 700/800 mhz for now. Will post screen shots of Pro96com

Looks like all transmissions are in Phase I FDMA not Phase II TDMA.

On my BCD536HP transmissions are showing P25. Nothing in PTO or PT1

Talkgroups noted so far are

57 - Campus PD Dispatch
61 - ?
241 - ?
355 - ?
411 - ?
413 - ?
412 - ?
631 - ?

Your screen shots in two places indicate Phase-II.

It might operate as Phase-I FDMA due subscriber radio limitations, or system being forced into FDMA, but your screenshots indicate its a phase-II system and capability.

So what happened was when I first sniffed out this system for some reason it said Phase II. Ever since for whatever reason now it continues to say Phase I. So go figure. This is the current screenshot from tonight.

Either way its all good. Thanks for figuring out the talkgroups. Not sure how you figured it out but it looks good so far.

New Talk-groups found to Monitor

I logged a few more talk groups a few days ago but haven't found what all of them are for; so I will be monitoring when possible. I also spoke with someone who is on the radio project and he told me they doubled the number of talk groups at the university since ditching the Smartnet II system and added more many radios.

Here's what I've logged:
TG#:

1-?
69-?
247- Maintenance Ch. 4 (Possibly?)
253-Maintenance Ch.6 (Possibly?)
257-?
259-?
353- Parking Enforcement Ch. 2 (Possibly?)
401-?
405-?
407-?
415-?
417-?
421-?
425-?
675-?
677-?
681-?

Also, all the traffic was P25 Phase I
