New UGA Talk Group

Just noticed this past week a new, active talk group 1008 on the TRS. It is not listed in the Database here or in the ScanAtlanta datatbase. I noticed that the people talking on 1008 tonight were communicating with the 976 ( Hunker Down Housing Program) talk group. It sounds like it might be another PD talk group but I am unable to tell exactly (need to monitor it more). Anyone have any leads on this as to what it might be?

I assume you see this talkgroup on the uga(University of Georgia) trs and not the Athens-Clarke County trs. I will give the uga trs a listen too. I usually don't monitor it very often. Its usually just police doing building checks, kids having fun driving the escort van, and ramsey and housing security checking locks. Have you heard this talkgroup every night?

Listen to the UGA TRS on a football game day and you might be able to find new TG's.
