Does anyone have any ideas on what this new frequency pair of 453.6875/458.6875 will be used for? The callsign is WRUJ727 and licensed to the Borough of Sea Girt. There is currently a repeater on the air, using a DPL of 654. Thanks in advance!

FCC license says 90.20a - POLICE OPERATIONS; OFFICIAL COMMS. the license also authorizes DMR usage ( 7K60FXE ).

I saw that too, but wasn't sure if it was going to be used for PD, FD or EMS. That's what I'm hoping to find out. I'm guessing the borough will use it for whatever service needs it the most.

If you're already discovered a repeater on the air with the DPL, then half the mystery is solved. You need to continue to listen to figure out what the exact usage will be.

I'm working on it. I visit the area at least once a week and haven't heard any traffic yet. I'm hoping other members that live in the Belmar/Spring Lake/Sea Girt area could provide more information. I live in the Bayshore area of the county, so I can't hear this repeater from my location.
