While scanning in Wildcard mode and using UniTrunker on the Orange County CCCS, I came across 7 new or unknown unencrypted Talk Groups and 2 unknown encrypted talk groups. I'm curious if anyone else has found these and can identify any of them. I will be listening to see what I can hear.

Unencrypted:
40288
41440
52926
60800- Sounded like Comms units were doing radio checks on this talk group in the morning.
60992
61312
65536

Encrypted:
30752
61120

Happy Hunting!

Here is what I have come up with

40288 - Co. Services Talkgroup
41440 - Co. Services Talkgroup
52926 - Encrypted LE Green Talkgroup
60800 - OCSD County Radio Comm's Talkgroup
60992 - OCSD County Talkgroup
61312 - OCSD County Talkgorup
65536 - Radio Comm's

30752 - This has been unknown for a long time. Nobody has been able to figure it out

61120 - Santa Ana College or School's Encrypted Talkgroup

Nice! That was quick; I guess we could put those in the Database. I also wonder if the 61120 could be also Irvine Valley College because I know they subscribe to the CCCS as well and are encrypted.

Here are some educated guesses:

Unencrypted:
40288 - HCA SIL-5
41440 - SOCIAL SERVICES SILVER-1
52926 - Not a valid TGID. 52928 may be ANA PD
60800 - Yes, one of several Comm testing TG's noted in the past
60992 - Another Comm testing TG (SW Cell?)
61312 - SAUSD GREEN-2
65536 - Not a valid TGID. Unitrunker uses this to denote the CWID.

Encrypted:
30752 - 9-L TAN-9?
61120 - Irvine Valley College Green-1

Most of these were derived from educated guessing or actual comms heard. 9-L for instance is immediately adjacent to 9-J and 9-K which have had fire (Hazmat, specifically and law units affiliate to them, therefore they are most likely JHAT ops (Joint Hazard Assessment Team - https://goo.gl/5KqpMg). Same idea with HCA SIL-5 and Social Services.

....For whatever it's worth....

If you watch the video and you are at 1 minute and 36 seconds into watching the video you will see on the marking board that

9L TAN-9 - TA is a Talkaround coventional channel it looks like. Correct me if I am wrong. But I do agree that talkgroup 30752 does fit within the Countywide Interops range and is Encrypted.

Nope you are correct, I forgot about 9L being a TA.
I agree though that it is likely an interops channel and probably related to JHAT ops, maybe a law-only TG.

Awesome, that all makes sense with what I have been hearing. Especially on the 41440-SOCIAL SERVICES SILVER-1; I have been hearing the Control One Sig-alerts on this channel which is typically only broadcast on Primary "1" talkgroups.

Control One on their consoles use MSEL which is Multi Select to broadcast across multiple talkgroups for countywide alerts and sig alerts. If you run Trunk88 you can see what talkgroups are part of the MSEL.
