New user of GRE 600

I'm using WIN500 software to program the PSR 600. All the data is loaded into the WIN500 software but I don't understand the Scanner list maps. How do I fill-in this section?

Right now the scanner list map section is empty and I don't know how to fill it out.

The scanlist is what ever you program the talk groups as.

Scanlist 1: Police
Scanlist 2 :Fire

etc...

The talk groups will be whatever is programed for your system.

48: Police Primary would go to scanlist 1
16400: Fire Primary would go to scanlist 2

etc.....

This image will show you how scan list assignments are done with WIN500. It is as simple as placing a check mark in the box. I have my scan lists geographically assigned and you can see I have placed a few TGs in several lists to bridge the geographical areas since these TGs could be used in any area. This is done on the TSYS Objects page. I might add that if you have already put TGs in the program, they should have defaulted to Scan List #1.
