Had to take the GMC off the road, so I ended up buying a new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. I love it because i have more room inside. my old install can be found here http://forums.radioreference.com/pictures-your-shack-mobile-setup/270265-current-set-up.html
I have a Kenwook TK-730H/830H with the KCH-4 control head and external speaker, Unitrol Touchmaster Delta lighting and siren control, and a Uniden BCT-15X scanner. Using 10 gage wire from the battery to the power distribution stip mounted under the bracket, and another feeding the radios mounted under the back seat. 3 NMO antennas mounted on the roof (the VHF and UHF are Browning quarter wave whips, a Browning 800-900 MHz antenna feeds the scanner). Not knowing anything about the newer vehicles, when i took the Headliner down, lo and behold theres 2 side curtian air bags in the back seat door area, so i had to re route the antenna wires around them. Radios are not there to stay long, im waiting on getting a new 5710 and 5810's.

Makes me homesick to see Utica on that scanner display.
I was born in Utica, grew up in Holland Patent.

Nice looking install.

The BCT-15X is solely for the utica EDACS TRS, unless i travel out of the city, then ill listen to everything else. You should come up to visit sometime.

That stack of gear fills that console area well. I have an older Suburban that seems to have less room at times due to the transfer case lever being almost in the center of the floor. Good job on the install.

I hope to get up there soon. My parents still live in Holland Patent and are members of the CNYARA,
KB2MUQ Paul and KC2WYC Sandy.
