New West Metro Tone

I'm not sure if anyone else has been listening, but WM is doing Locution "Lola" dispatching on their admin channel as well as having the dispatchers air calls on the main TG. For those that haven't heard the tone, it's very unique / annoying and almost sounds like a song being played on the flute.

First time I heard it I was wondering why I was hearing "The Macarena" on the scanner.

If they really needed tunes for this system they should associate Lola with either Barry Manilow's "Copacabana" or The Kinks "Lola".

For me, I'll take the Kinks over Barry Manilow any day.
