WS1040: New Whistler WS1040 Scanner

I just received mine, and how do I go about getting it loaded off this site and/or PSREdit.com?? Nothing seems automatically to me, but what do I know. Please give some guidelines to get started. It just seems to scan Marine chanels!!??
