New Yahoo Group - ScanAirlineOps
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ScanAirlineOps/

The new group is primarily for Airline "Company Frequency" listeners.

It was just created by this group's Moderator - Iden.

The logo was created by Greg in San Diego and I added a few touches to it.

If you are already involved in this kind of listening or just want to explore it, please consider joining to check it out -- and hang around for awhile as it grows and develops!!!

It is a much more narrowly focused than AirCommSouthwest.

The group links are already in place at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ScanAirlineOps/links

Here is the ScanAirlineOps group description:

ScanAirlineOps is for scanner radio hobbyists who enjoy listening to the air/ground voice communications of Airliners, Air Cargo Carriers, Corporate Jets (BizJets), Charter Flights, Air Taxis, and others on the non Air Traffic Control "Company Frequencies" in the 128.825-132.0 and 136.5-136.975 MHz ranges within the 50 U.S. states. These are also called Aeronautical Operational Control (AOC) Frequencies.

Posts on these topics also welcome: 122.95 UNICOM at Towered airports; ARINC Domestic VHF Voice Networks; Air/Ground frequencies for Fixed Base Operators (FBOs), Fuel Providers, Ramp Control, and Airline-related FM support frequencies at airports.

As well as: Call Signs; Registrations; Aircraft type codes; Airline company codes; Tips on using AirNav.com; Lists of airline and cargo carriers that serve various airports; Route maps; Routes; Airline hubs; FAA airport diagrams; Airport terminal area / gate maps; and Aviation Spectrum Resources, Inc. (ASRI) topics.

Flight data from FlightAware.com (and other trackers) as well as AirNav RadarBox, and SBS-1 Real-Time Virtual Radar is welcome.
The group does not cover Fire/Rescue; Police/Security/TSA; Customs/Border Patrol; Traffic Control/Parking/Shuttle; Airport Authority; Airport Operations/Maintenance.

Phone patch and other message content is sometimes sensitive. When in doubt, don't post it.

Also see http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AirCommSouthwest/ for a broadly-focused, multi-topic aircraft listeners group for the 48 conterminous U.S. states.

Naturally, I'd be pleased if you would pass on the group info to others who you think might be interested.
Thank you,
