Last week, I started in clearing out and updating my scanner lists. Starting with a couple BC785D's, searching thru the Aviation Band (118~137), looking for anything new/different as well as verifying what has already been heard.
Add a couple PRO-2055's, searching parts of the Mil UHF band (225~340).
Then there is an SDS100 searching the 460~465 band, for the same, but focusing on DMR/NXDN traffic.
As usual, the IC-R8600 is used to verify freqs. Several of these radios have image issues, and the 8600 helps to confirm.
It is hectic at first, but once I lock-out the "common" channels, it gets easier.
