Two new licenses issued to the NEW YORK CITY TRANSIT AUTHORITY for a Trunked Public Safety 700 MHz, RADIO SYSTEM WILL BE USED TO COORDINATE OFFICIAL TRANSPORTATION ACTIVITIES OF THE LICENSEE.
There are going to be a number of these NYCTA applications and licenses upcoming, I believe 32 in total. They've actually had these frequencies allocated for years, nearly a decade at this point, and are finally getting around to licensing them.
The AOR DV1 can decode TETRA. There are a few videos on YouTube about it. I think this was a firmware update and isn't included in the origanal product info. I believe it tracks trunked TETRA systems as well.
I think there is a AoR handheld that does so as well but I'm not sure.
