New York State Troop K(TMC) doesn't seem to come in hardly at all in Lower Westchester County, NY. I am aware they use 155.505/154.920/154.665 so can anyone explain. Sometimes I will hear them when my Bearcat BCD-996P2 is near the window but I'm using the factory supplied telescoping antenna. I saw a Comet Original BNC-W100RX 25-1,300Mhz scanner antenna for extended range that's 8" collapsed and 40" extended with 4 1/2 stars. What does everyone think about this item? Will this pull in better then the factory supplied antenna? Doctordialtone, your thoughts? And this product is $34.84 on Amazon.com

I pick up NYSP K fine whenever I am in any part of Westchester, on my portable. Have you tried moving your antenna or scanner to a different location?

What do you mean "It doesn't come in hardly"? What's wrong? Does that mean you can only hear Dispatch on 155.05 and not the response? Or is it because you have it locked out as I mentioned a month ago?

As @Ant9270 Mentioned above, try moving the location of your Antenna aswell
