Newark chase to Jersey City

Just finished listening to a pursuit. Newark PD was chasing a Black Jeep Cherokee wanted for a shooting that happened a few days ago. Jeep go on the turnpike and went into Jersey City by Liberty State Park. Ground units lost the car but Newark PD helicopter "able1" was following the car but lost it around Liberty State Park area... NJSP Turnpike troopers were trying to locate the vehicle but couldn't communicate with Newark on SPEN1 very well...

I was monitoring B2-04 CENTRAL , B2-14 NBKTP and Newark PD 5th Prec. South where ABLE1 was giving the suspects car's location. Very interesting to listen to. I bet someone else on here heard about this too, as almost every agency in the area was notified about it.

Sounded like they found this vehicle this morning on Turnpike property somewhere. Newark wasn't interested in coming to search or print the Jeep though, said it was just wanted to for motor vehicle violations and eluding...

Yeah that's what they said yesterday over SPEN1 to NJSP, that it's wanted for eluding and a bunch of mv violations.. but the cops got behind it because it matched the description of a car involved in a shooting a few days ago..
