Newark FD - Unable to listen

Any tricks to listening to Newark FD? I know they are on NJ PSIC network. Can't get them on my scanner for some reason.

I get them but always garbled, i can make out every 3rd word on a good day

What type of Scanner? My GRE PSR 800 and Uniden 536 decodes them quite well. I mean it sounds a bit muffled but I can understand what they are saying. It's diffrent then their VHF Police system but still readable.

Since this is in the BCD536HP owner tech support forum, I'm gonna guess a 536.
