It looks like the West Orange eagle Rock site might be up and running for Newark PD. I have full signal in East Hanover florham Park area
Where did you get the info? I am not finding control channel here this evening but not sure I am hitting Eagle Rock.

I am in Livingston, set up my 325p2 but is searching for a control channel. I will check the SDS200's tomorrow. A friend of mine said it was booming too, not sure what I am missing.

You may be experiencing simulcast distortion. Try opening the squelch. It should usually be set at 2. What programming software are you using? Please attach your programming file so we can take a look at it. You will need to zip the file to be able to attach it. Click on Attach files and open the zipped file.

So looking at the 996p25 and the 325p2 when programming the frequencies such as 771.7875 these radios cut off the last 5. That was using Proscan and ARC XT which looks like it should handle the extended frequency.

The scanner only displays the frequencies to 4 decimal places. The correct frequencies are being entered.
Hmm OK - then the SDS200 is handling it a little better than the P2 radios, but I also have to figure out which antenna is which - I switch things around way to much. On the SDS not using a stock antenna or a 700/800Mhz antenna though this will be in the works.
