With the new initiative announced this week, Troopers being deployed in the city of Newark, does anyone know will it be the usual B2-9?

I have not heard anything on B2_9, City 460, Essex 470 or PSIC or UTAC.

Perhaps they have not been deployed yet?

Just wondering.

There was some B2-9 activity last night, but nothing out of the ordinary. My guess is if you hear anything, it would be on B2-9. Maybe we will hear something Friday or Saturday night.

The Metro North guys have been working almost every day for years now (many of my youtube recordings came off of B2-9). Part of me wonders if they aren't doing anything different and this whole announcement is just for show.

I stand corrected. I see TEAMS radios all over B2-9 this morning. Sounds like it may have started.
