Just an FYI, the 1st Police Precinct in Newark's Central ward is closing. (if not already) I am told the precinct boundaries will be changing and staff from the former 1st will be redeployed to other commands. As of the time of this message, operations pertaining to the Central ward are taking place on NPD Channel 4 which also includes the 4th and 6th Pct units. The 1st Pct building will be converted into the Newark Police Museum.
