Does anyone know if NEWARK PD plan on switching from the 460 meg to the 700,meg system like NEWARK FD did??

Good question. If that was so I'm sure there would be news announcements or a article somewhere. Or a FCC application for them to change their license?!

Not necessarily an application because the 700 system belongs to the state, not any of the municipalities. So, they would be able to use it provided all of the legal agreements are in place between all involved. Still, it wouldn't happen in a vacuum.
