newbie help

Hi there,I've got a few questions I'm a novice and have just bought a AOR 2800 with 2 ariels in the attic, a discone and a tri band white stick,,now is there a way to factory reset the scanner as I'm struggling programming frequencies and I don't understand the memory banks/channel's the instructions are very vague ,could somebody explain tom me how I scan aircraft/ civil ect
