I live in Colorado Springs and picked up a Radio Shack PRO-2096 in Nov. of 07. They programmed it in the store for me. The frequencies they had pre-programmed have worked fine. The only problem is there are some that I don't want to listen to such as the city bus system and the guys at the airport who plow the runways.
I've purchased the WIN 96 software and have become a premium member on this site. I know I can download directly through the WIN 96 software but I'm not really sure what it is I need to download. I want to have CSPD, CSFD, El Paso County Sheriff, Co State Police,Air Traffic controllers at the COS airport and I guess any of the emergency services.
Can someone please give me a little advice and any suggestions for other frequencies of interest that would be great.
