Newbie question for scanning air

I have located my airport (PBI) at AirNav and got all the frequencies programmed into my scanner. The frequencies are listed at http://www.airnav.com/airport/KPBI.

Are *all* of these frequencies AM? I just set my scanner (Uniden BR-330T) to Auto mode and it put some at AM and some at NFM. For example some of the approach channels in UHF space (397.9 for example) it shows as NFM, yet the ones in VHF space it has as AM.

I just want to be sure I have this correct.........I had originally thought all air stuff was AM.

They are all AM and should be set that way. The higher ones UHF in the 380MHz range are being converted to FM trunking systems for the military. But that would not apply here. Also don't forget AUTEC if still in operation at the airport. Used to be Navy flights in and out quite often.

Also try 132.150 & 353.6 MHz AM And check out the Sky Vector charts and the PDF files towards the bottom of the page.
