I'm so new to scanning it hurts ;-) somewhat akin to getting my first 'puter.

OK I bought a BC92XLT and my questions are:

This unit has 200 programmable channels in 10 banks; are the Service Banks separate and in addition?

Can the Service Banks by mistake be reprogrammed?

Yes, they are separate

Can the Service Banks by mistake be reprogrammed?

NO, these are preset by the manufacturer.
