Newbie requesting advice!

Hello all, I am new to this form and to radios in general. I am looking for advice on a radio from the $0-$300 (up to $320 if its a noticeable jump in quality) that utilizes a 6 pin connector and offers 2 or more channels.

I am planning on using said radio for airsoft and other recreational purposes and will be paired with a set of Invisio T5s, an Invisio V50 PTT, and a 6 pin adapter for the PTT.

In the airsoft community I was recommended to get a TCA or TRI 148 or 152 replica. Considering they aren't as much of radio enthusiasts as this forum is, I was hoping to gain some more knowledge on the subject and be informed whether or not if what was recommended was good for my use case.

What radio service do you all use? FRS? GMRS? Are your buddies amateur radio operators? I’d ask them these questions first so you can ensure you are purchasing a radio that is able to operate on the same frequencies and you will also know if licensure is required (GMRS or Amateur) or not (FRS).
