Newbie scanning question

I have decied I am going to order a PSR-800 tomorrow. My only question first is, I live in Baltimore, MD. I have watched a few videos on youtube about the scanner. My question is, my office is in Parkville MD which is police pct. 8. On RR the id's are 1840, 2288, 7728. Can I narrow down the search parameters on the scanner to just scan Parkville or do I have to listen to all of Baltimore Co at once? Or is there a way to put the ids in a bank to scan just them??? Thanks in advance.

You can put as many, or as few, items in a scan list as you want. You could put Parkville in a scan group, by itself, and the rest of the system in another scan list. (Or multiple lists.)
