****NEWBIE WARNING**** PRO-106 ?'s

I have just gotten a new pro-106 and downloaded the database for the Fayetteville, NC using PSREDIT500. All seems to be working well except, the system seems to rescan during the conversation making me miss parts on the 800mhz trunking system.

I assume it has something to do with the dwell timers but can’t seem to figure out how to get it to hold the channel until they stop talking.

Turn off Priority. If you have Priority on, it will scan any priority frequencies that you have programmed every few seconds, and you will lose parts of conversations (like you mentioned).

Duh....that makes sense I do have the priorty set for the weather frequency. I will try that thanks.
