Newbie with a Pro 97

Hi all, no stranger to scanning here, but just got the Pro-97 passed on to me from my father, and I would like to program the Ct state police trunk group into the scanner and I can't for the life of me figure out the whole "trunking" setup. I looked around and I can't seem to find any sort of setup info on the web. Any Advice?

Hi Rich, welcome to the site!

It looks like the system you are wanting to scan (http://www.radioreference.com/apps/db/?sid=832) is full of digital talkgroups (there's a "D" in the "Mode" column), which the Pro-97 cannot handle. You would need to upgrade in order to be able to listen to that system.
