I'm a newbie ,I just got my first scanner PRO94 I'm able to scan the local PD and FD and all the surrounding town and I'm having a good time because the scanner does pick up pretty good signal but I seems that I have some problem understanding the trunking part ,I did follow all the instruction and I did program my scanner with the trunk frequency for the MSP Type 2 Motorola and when I scan in trunk mode it get something like that :

TRUNK --------------------
ME

but rarely I get a trunk frequency or hear a voice
If anyone has a Pro94 or is familiar with it

I will appreciate some feedback or help

Welcome to the group lzeroual!!

The manual that ships with the pro94 can make any sane person go nuts. However, Radioshack did do a pretty good job of explaining it better with this website:

Reprogram your radio using those instructions, and if you still have problems surf back and ask away!

does the MSP use E1 or E2 ?????

If you go to the RRDB page for the MSP .. http://www.radioreference.com/modules.php?name=TRSDB&sid=736 all of the frequencies are in the 800 MHz band so it would be E2.
