I have heard Greenwood County Public Safety, Hampton Police, and Columbia County Sheriff's Office were switching to Pal800. Wondering if we have started seeing any new talkgroups on their respected sites yet? I am most interested in Greenwood and will start checking on my next visit...

Sounds good to me. Easley Rescue has a 453.100 repeater and when the weather is cloudy, Greenwood SO comes in strong enough to beat tone ours. The distance between repeater sites is a little less than 67 miles, but you wouldn't think their signal would be that good on a regular basis.

I wish them well on the Pal 800.

It seems unlikely that Columbia County will go Pal 800 any time soon. I don't think there are any repeaters in the county and I'm not sure that existing sites would provide enough coverage.
