If there's anyone in Newnan who enjoys monitoring the agencies that will be using the proposed system, NOW would be the time to show up at those meetings and tell the commissioners that digital does not mean better, does not mean more secure, does not mean cheaper in the long run.
Don't take my word for it, I don't know diddley. But take a peek at the Ohio room and see the kinds of trouble scanner listeners are having with that new system in Cleveland. Or go to the NC room and see how much trouble the folks in charlotte are having.
