Last weekend, I took my scanner with me when I was at Newport on the Levy, a large building along the Kentucky side of the Ohio River across from Cincinnati that houses restaurants, numerous movie theaters and an arcade. During the entire time, I did not hear one call over six frequencies listed for that facility on Radio Reference. The frequencies I was scanning were:
451.4875
452.7875
457.7875
464.6375
467.850
469.6375
On one frequency (and I was not able to ascertain which), there was a mechanical-like sound such as might be generated by a computer that broke through the squelch, but no spoken words.
Radio signals for most facilities such as this are usually only heard inside of it and in the immediate area outside, but I'm just wondering if anyone else has had any experience in hearing anything from there?
