Does anyone know what the news media is doing now that they cannot monitor PSP VHF in parts of the state where PSP has transitioned entirely to OpenSky? I seem to remember some rumors that the news media could buy receive only radios to hear certain talkgroups?

in cases where a jurisdiction is covered by a PSP CDC (Central Dispatch Center), the CAD System has or soon will have a "public" portal to view active incidents-basically location and type of incident. I believe the Press has/will have this portal information.
