Next Firmware Upgrade For 500

Does anyone know when the next GRE firmware/software upgrade is scheduled for the PSR 500/600? There's not been one released in awhile, That's why I ask...

ok, maybe I missed the last one, What was it, the 1.6? I'll have to check mine,That's not that long but it seems like it's been forever, lol 1.6 was the last one, right?

I still say companies should just create "new" firmware every month even if there is nothing new in it

Seems like people just want to feel better about having a new update, no matter what's in it (or even if they don't have any issues they want new firmware)

yup, then people will stop asking, when all the time.
Uniden didn't release one for the 396 and 996 for over year, so not even a month and asking.
