How can i get the nextel frequencies for care ambulance?

Forget it. Your scanner WILL NOT be able to pick up Nextel. Nextel and Southern Linc uses the same technology. Not even the new digital scanners will work. Sorry.

NEXTEL is VSELP over TDMA, which means no monitoring, unless you're talking about a Motorola system that NEXTEL owns and rents out space on....

Youy mean VSELP 4.2 on 6:1 TDMA using M16-QAM. but th echannel coding would still not be defined. :evil:

OR,

It would be easier just to say they use iDEN from Motorola. :twisted:

But he is right, there are no commercially available iDEN capable scanners.

Right....but to some people, digital means digital and they wonder why a scanner just can't be made to pick up the digital format, negating the fact that it is also TDMA. But to be technical, sure - VSELP 4.2 on 6:1 TDMA using M16-QAM - why not. :lol: And some people have no clue what iDEN is.

Anyhow.....
