Nextel frequencies

I'm not sure where i seen this but i believe i saw a frequency for nextel 2 ways. If any one can help me out with this let me know thanks.

Nextel is scattered throughout the 851-866 frequency range. But since the digital encoding is proprietary, there's no use searching for them since you won't be able to listen to them anyway.

Yep, all you will hear is crap, kind of like if you were actually using the phone!

Not to mention your scanner would have to have AM modulation too....

I find the iDEN signals a real pain when trying to search a sub-section
of the 851-866 band. Depending on the scanner, it may or may not
get stuck on these signals. The ones that do, usually do so +/-12.5kHz
above the actual signal center frequency.

The PRO-2004 squelch can be adjusted so that it stops at them for
a short time, then moves on. Most other scanners I have used get
stuck. Ones with search lockout (BC235 etc.) have a limit to the
number of lockouts (20).
