NFM or FM?

Hello all, I know this has been covered, but for some reason my searches have come up empty. I’m getting ready to go on a short trip across the state and I’m wondering about different types of interferences that my Pro106 will receive. My main frequencies that I’m concerned about are VHF and 800 MHz. What I’m getting to, is, if there is any difference between setting these types of frequencies between FM and NFM? Will NFM help with the common issues with the radio? Any help or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

There's not really a big difference between the two. Setting it one way and not the other will not produce more, or less interference.
