Anyone hear any buses on the NFTA trunked system? I used to hear them on 452.410 & a few others back then, but now with my new trunking scanner (BCT15) I've imported from RR and have yet to hear any buses. I do hear a lot of the airport maint and shuttle buses. I entered in the older frequencies also, and nothing yet, except the NFTA Police on 453.8.

Also, what about National Grid. they used to be Niagara Mowhawk. Are they trunked now?

While passing through the Buffalo area in mid-December, both the METRO bus and light rail operations were heard on a regular basis. If you're hearing the airport shuttle buses, you should be able to listen to the METRO operations.

I figured I should be hearing the buses, but I haven't yet. I might be setup wrong. I imported the NFTA Trunked system right from RR database.

I figured it out. I had group quick keys set for the bus groups and they were not enabled. I am now hearing the dispatch and buses. Still nothing for National grid? I have a bunch of old Niagara Mohawk frequencies, but no traffic yet (except occasioanl noise).

National Grid moved to a digital system about 8 years ago. They are on VHF now with the exception of the Buffalo Service Trucks who are on UHF digital.
