Hi Folks! Does anybody have how the State Of NH has their Fire Interop portable zone/channel layed out for a 870 channel radio?
And also the PD Layout would be great too!
I'm a Vol. FF in central NH, and we do plenty of carryouts and Search & Rescue's, And our radio's that wee issued to us only have LRMFAA 1-7, and Belknap Co. Police Dispatch, and we're at a huge disadvantage when it comes to us going Mutual Aid to a different town.
Yes this is my PRIVATELY OWNED radio I will be Programming, We would use our Programming grant and drag & drop the codeplug but we used ours on two mobile's that no longer work properly!
And would this be how it is for Fire? NH Statewide Fire Plan - Scan New England Wiki

If your Dept Radios don't work properly, Get them Fixed thru the proper source - use Official channels vs a Hobby Channel
Contact LRMFA and talk to the Communications People [do this thru your Chief]

The state interop plans are authorized through state mutual aid compacts for department owned and operated radios. The programming of personal radios for the interop plans should only be done through the authorization of the chief of your department. Radios that are being used on unauthorized channels on the interop plan will land you in a real mess. NHDOS is very specific on who is authorized to have the full plans programmed as they have the access and programming information for every RCC and MAC systems, as well as state entities, 800 system patch channels, and ME, MA and VT frequencies.

I highly suggest that if your SAR team is authorized to have the band plan, to use their radio. If your team is not authorized, there is a bigger conversation to be had.

The New Hampshire Statewide Interoperability Executive Committee is the body that authorizes the NH Statewide Interop templates, known as FireNet, EMSNet, and LawNet. Departments and radio shops can request access to the latest revision of the codeplugs through the NH Statewide Interoperability Coordinator, John Stevens at the NH Department of Safety, Division of Emergency Services and Communications Contact the Division of Emergency Services, Communications and Management, NH DOS

That wiki had not been touched, other than cosmetics, since it was written in 2013 ?

Anyone who has an updated version, PM :)
Looks somewhat correct at a glance, but dated. Info is old considering the MHT channels are now P25.
Disclaimer; I didn't look close at all.

What I did is I went through the link I supplied with the 2013 interop plan, and used the RR database to reconfirm the info, and then to get the TX frequencies, click the Callsign or run it through the FCC ULS, what i've found was that most TX frequencies were in the 157-159 range, (An example: Belknap Co. PD Dispatch, RX: 154.085 TX: 159.465, NAC: 117) Or (NHSP Troop E, RX: 151.325 TX: 159.315, NAC: 800) And most of the fire dispatches are simplex,

What I did Is I went through the interop plan, and updated the frequencies/NAC's/PL/DPL, and put it all in a RR Wiki, It might not be the newest of the new, but at least it's up to date info
And please feel free to go through it and update it where you see it's necessary or needed!

if you are programming radios [Two-way] from a Hobby website [my final comment to you as others have tried to hint] is STOP

You need to be talking to the Agency Comm folks directly
a. Getting permission in writing not a verbal OK
b. ensuring the correct approved radios are being used as well as the TX/RX, PL/DPL, NAC
input Tones are generally not in RR and are different from the output used.

Remember RR / SNE are Hobby sites for Scanners, not for programming Life Safety two-way equipment

I understand that, my chief has started to email the state for the Interop plan, and he's going to get all written approval for transmit authority, and he is having me reprogram the radio's as I have the software and knowledge on how to do it. And my personal radio was just an idea to try to get started, but Thank You all! Also, I only made that RR wiki because last night I had nothing better to be doing!

Also along the same lines as the excellent advise from ecps92. I would discourage posting the matrix file in its entirety to any online forums. It would be a sure way to prevent your department from receiving any updates files going forward.
