from the FCC ULS

Mason and Greenville are adjacent towns - they both might be dispatched by the County Sheriff Office

KNCP221 - Mason - 33.64 R - 33.74 R - 33.90 - 154.2125 R - 154.3925 R - 155.4075 R - (158.865 input added 3/22/2018) - all repeaters are at 960 Townshend except 155.4075 R which is at 101 Depot Rd

WPZB382 - Greenville - 155.4075 R - 153.965 input - (33.74 - FB2 + FB + M) - repeaters at Burnt Hill Rd

Radio Reference Database shows most of these channels plus 154.4075 R with 158.865 input - also shown is 154.3925 R PL 179.9 patched to 33.74

Can anyone elaborate on all of this? They probably are moving on up from low band to high band.

1. why 2 repeaters on 155.4075 R?

2. is 154.4075 R correct?

3. maybe if 154.3925 is patched to lowband - then maybe 154.2125 is a standalone repeater with 158.865 as input

4. maybe there are 2 repeaters on 155.4075 R with 2 different inputs (153.965 and 158.865)

????? - confusing

To confuse it a bit more, I heard one of them toned today for a call in Greenville on 150.8025/186.2. Not sure what that was about. It appeared to be the input to a repeater from Hillsborough County Dispatch.

Good catch Bill. VHF in Search is a little squirrelly in the 150Mhz specific section because they don't quite follow the exact 7.5 spread. Maybe 150.805.

154.3925 is now used as a stand alone tac channel.
150.805 is the repeater input for Souhegan Valley Ambulance, not a fire department frequency.

I just parked a radio on 153.89 PL 186.2 (Souhegan Valley Ambulance) - maybe I can confirm that it is active - and then try for the FD channels - I have been able to hear that 153.89 repeater in the past

Hollis dispatches Mason fire, County dispatches Greenville fire. They share a VHF Channel
They have both moved from lowband to VHF simulcast with TX locations at Townsend Rd and Barrett Hill (colocated with Souhegan Amb)
I havent paid attention lately, but there was lowband in the mix to facilitate paging.

heard Souhegan Valley Amb do pager test at 610 pm last night - over the air on 153.89 - 'both Amb 741 and Amb 742 are in service' - test might have been a little late due to a run in progress - my reception is a little sketchy - should be able to hear FDs - will try to confirm 154.2125 and 154.3925 and 155.4075

138 pm - 155.4075 R - Mason First Responders and Brookline FD ambulance are responding to a ambulance call now - hearing the apparent Mason first responders talking to "Hollis" - little tough to hear from here - heard the pager tones on 155.4075 also

150 pm - ? 5 A 1 ? just announced that they are now on the "Mason frequency" - 155.4075 R - they are responding to the ambulance call in Mason - a Mason first responder just gave a patient update to ?5A1? - 5A1 just told Hollis that they are onscene at 152pm

tonight on 155.4075 - Greenville Fire and EMS pager test at 1800 - Mason Fire and EMS pager test at 1815 - ( these might be the real nightly test times ) - there were 2 pager tone sets for Mason - and maybe 2 for Greenville also

154.3925 has been reported to be a stand alone tac repeater

Which leaves me with only 2 major questions : what is 154.2125 R used for? - which input channels are used for which repeaters?
