Glad to see someone started this thread.
Monitor mainly the Manchester EDAC System, live close enough to monitor MHT Airport tower/ ground and security operations including the low power TSA portables. Also all the surrounding areas including SP.
If its digital conv. or an TRS then I will have my ears on,at home with an outside Diamond D130 discone and when mobile a Austin Spectra Mobile.

My Priority channel is Franklin PD, but I like to listen to State Police all troops. I listen to all police including sheriffs departments and all fire departments in the area around me. Also listen to local corrections and state prisons.

I have a Pro-96 with original rubber duck antenna when at home along side a pro 2026 with standard antenna. When mobile I use the Pro-96 with the radio shack magnet mount antenna with amplified ext. speaker works great with great reception, I can hear as far away as York County Maine while driving in my local area.

just wanted to be a little more specific about what i use. I have a radio shack Pro-96 , when I'm at home i use a Radio shack outdoor discone antenna model: #20-043; when out side i use either a 800 mhz antenna or the duck that comes with it mostly the stock antenna, i am not to impressed with the perfomance of the 800 mhz. When I'm in my truck i use a radio shack Magnet-mount mobile scanner antenna Model: #20-032, I hook it up through the aux in my stereo so I can hear it through my sperakers.

Hey Asmitty0010

How much encouragement would it take for you to start an online feed?

I have a condo in Glen, and while I live in Juno Beach FL most of the year, I miss listening to the area.

I come home for the summer to work (as a musician) at the Weathervane Playhouse in Whitefield and the Papermill Theatre in Lincoln.

A good friend of mine owns and runs the Northern Lights music store on Main Street.

It is a small world

Thanks

Theres a feed on Scan Cape Cod's TeamSpeak Server of Southern NH Police 95% of which is APCO-25 Digital. First to listen you must Download Teamspeak

This page will be very Helpful:
http://scancapecod.us/xoops/modules/tinycontent/index.php?id=3

Also here are some tips:
http://www.scancapecod.us/wiki/index.php/Teamspeak_Tips_&_Tricks

And this is a screen shot of some of the server, you can also login on this page (after Download):
http://www.scancapecod.us/xoops/

*But Remember to read the Rules of the Server!!!!!! (in the channel you are initally logged into)
If you dont follow these rules, you will possibly face being kicked and/or permedently Band from the Server!!! Just use common sense!!

*****ALSO Scott is always looking for new feeds!! Especially NH that can do P-25 like mine*****

Thanks for your response.

I have had Teamspeak and have been listening to Scan Cape Cod for years.
I listened to that feed and even though it is from NH it has so many departments that it is annoying to listen to.

I was more interested in a Northern NH feed.
And one with fewer departments.

Thanks again

Usually if no ones listning, or i dont know anyones listning, I'll put on MSP and Northen MA Police and Fire so i can listen to it!! but if your ever in again i can put just the NH Police on for you!! The System itself is great!!! but i guess i didnt realize i had it all on!!!

Am I crazy, or did you just add the fact that the feed from S NH is yours to your signature?
I am pretty sure you did because I would have not used the word "annoying" if I knew the site was yours. I would have used "difficult to follow"..... :)
No insult intended.

I noticed your PM on SCC, but I have never PM'd anyone.
I will look around and see if I can find instructions.

If I was able to request anything, it would be State Police only.

Thanks,
Dic

Dic,

I would love to start an online feed for Northern NH...the problem is, I have no idea how to do it. I've searched forums on here and I just don't know where to start. It is something that i'll hopefully figure out in the near future. Anybody with pointers on how to do this, let me know.

As for Northern Lights...I go there all the time. Dan is the man!

We have on ein the South, and one in the Lakes Region (No P-25 for Lakes region). We definatly need one for Northern NH. If you would like me to talk to scott about it i will. But you could always Send him an email!!! Hopw this helps!!!!!

Sorry Dic, i run the feed but not the Server, I have had the feed going for a little under a week now, and all feedback is more than Welcome. It may look dificult to follow. But most of those towns I can only get during Enhanced conditions. Troop B i get intermitent. And no i didnt add that to my signature because of teh word annoying. I want harsh feedback like that so i can make it better. I just wanted people to reconize that there is a feed like that out there.

Sorry,
So no hard feelings?

No hard feelings AT ALL!

I didn't mean that you ADDED the feed to your signature because of what I wrote...I meant I must have missed it the first time.
No criticism was intended. I just couldn't follow all the different numbers and identifiers.

Smitty--thanks for the offer. I know NOTHING about setting up an online feed.
If you require any additional euqipment or software, let me know. I would be glad to make a donation to the cause.

Tell Dan that Dana the drummer says hello and I hope to see him and his family this season.

Damn that was fast!
Asmitty, the feed sounds great! Thanks for the feed.
When I am up north I'll buy you a drink.

LPD, thanks for the info. I haven't listened yet, but I am sure it will help.

Asmitty, could you possibly add the Vermont State Police St Johnsbury frequency (460.300) PL 192.8?

Also, can you receive from your location the Derby State Police frequency of 460.150 PL 179.9?

If you might be able to add those, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks, both of you, for a sound of home.
:)
